It just so happened that I answered the phone one day and the person on the other end says to me “You’re the guy that rips phone books in half.  I am from Men’s Health Magazine.”

(Here I am thinking this guy wants to sell me ad space in the magazine)

The call goes on and he says that he is doing an article on Grip Strength and asked if I would like to be part of it!

We had an in depth discussion about Grip Strength and how important it is to anyone who plays sports or trains in a gym.  I took him through some workout routines and he said that it will be published in the June edition.

So earlier this week I received multiple phone calls from people wanting to pick up some Captains of Crush Grippers here in Adelaide.  I asked the customer where he had heard about us, and he said from the Men’s Health Magazine Article!

The article is great because it is a 4 page in depth look at Grip Strength Training and interviews from myself, Strongman Ben Simpson, Rock Climber James Kassay and Arm Wrestler Andrew Lea.

In it there is the perfect workout with the Captains of Crush Grippers.

Warm Up Gripper – 2 x 10 reps (your effort level should be low)

Working Gripper 3 x 5 – 7 reps (if you can go higher than this rep range you need to move up a gripper)

Goal Gripper – 3 x 1 (close the gripper as far as you can, then hold this position for 3 – 5 seconds)

Warm Up Gripper 1 x 10 (focus on maintaining perfect form)
